The club was founded on a basis of experimentation and play. The majority of work created for the club uses organic hand lettering, Brand guidelines placed an emphasis more on mood and tone as opposed to strict adherance to font or color choices.

At it’s root SoyBasedRiso is an organization built to create community and educate interested students on
Color guides were created with a mix of all 8 available Riso inks available: Medium Blue, Bright Red, Yellow, Black, Fluorescent Pink, White, Light Grey, and Aqua.
Meetings consisted of workshops and Open Print Days. Presentations were developed for each workshop breaking down the process for the topic of the week. Workshops: Introductory Welcome Meeting, History of Riso Printing, Introduction to Riso Printing (above), Single-Stich Bookbinding, Zine Workshop, Animation Workshop.

Social media presence followed a cleaner and repeatable look to maximize efficiency and make the club more recognizable in a digital space. Decisions were made based on the realistic weekly expectations of our small team.
