Gainesville’s rich history and close-knit community of printmakers make it a hub for creativity and storytelling through print. PrintGNV is a self-guided event that invites participants to explore the spaces and people who are keeping the art of print alive in Gainesville. As they visit each of the participating locations, visitors exchange their tickets for exclusive prints, engaging with the artists, historians, and printmaking processes that shape the local culture. Connecting residents and visitors with Gainesville's vibrant printmaking community, PrintGNV highlights the artistry, history, and stories that define the medium.

Additional paper handout included in the event booklet to inform participants in basic knowlege/lingo/processes, bridging the gap between them and the makers in print spaces in conversation.
[1] Yellow tickets exchanged at each location for a limited print from each archive, printing press, and/or studio.
Tickets are perforated sections on the location pages. After reading about the history of print in that area – go in person, talk to the people who enhabit these spaces, write a note, rip out the ticket and trade it in for a print.
